BLOOD BAGS AND SURGERY TUBES

Use

Plasticized or semi-rigid PVC is used to manufacture blood and dialysis bags, and surgery tubes.

Advantages

PVC has a high level of purity and is innocuous to human health, atoxic and resistant to chemicals, besides having excellent mechanical properties. Other advantage is that all additives used in the processes of final product manufacturing comply with national and international health legislation.

Manufacturing Process

Blood bags are manufactured from transparent PVC films, and are obtained by calendering process. The bags are assembled and welded from films that are ready, while surgery tubes are manufactured by extrusion process.
