THERMOFORMED FILMS

Use

Rigid PVC, based on the use of homopolymers or a mixture of homo and copolymers, is used in the manufacture of thermoformed films.

Advantages

PVC is  preferred because of its mechanical properties, high transparency, good fluidity when heated and because it  offers no harm to human health.

Manufacturing process

Barrier films are manufactured by calendering  process followed by   extrusion  process.
