FOOTWEAR
Use
PVC is used in the manufacture of various models of shoes and sandals.
Advantages
PVC can be transformed in a transparent film or in a film which imitates leather, showing the same flexibility, tenacity and finishing. It is also lighter while maintaining the original form. It is also ideal for the manufacture of female shoes, providing many elements for the manufacture (insole, footwear upper part, linings and boxes). Plasticized PVC is also suitable for the manufacturing of light, flexible or semi-rigid soles, because it has the characteristics of withstanding all kinds of weather, resistance to abrasion and anti-static properties.

Manufacturing Process
Compact or cell injection is used in the manufacture of soles. The other laminates used in footwear (footwear upper part, linings, sanded, suede and insoles) are manufactured by spread coating.
