Advantages

Form and structure of PVC emulsion particles serve well for the manufacture of microporous diaphragms, which are automotive battery separator components. PVC emulsion is also highly resistant to acid and oxidation.

Manufacturing process

Battery separators are manufactured by the sintering process. This is the only application in which PVC is used without additives.
