SPREAD-OUT COATING
Spread coating is a process that consists of depositing one or more layers of plastisols (somewhat viscous paste obtained by dispersion of PVC in plasticizers) on a support such as natural or synthetic fibers, blankets or paper. Afterwards, the deposited layer is gelated in ovens.
Most of the plastisol produced is consumed in this process
This technique allows for the manufacturing of a broad range of finished products, such as synthetic leather for segments that include clothing, footwear, purses furniture, waterproof tablecloths, tarpaulins, conveyor belts, wallpapers, floor mats, etc.
