PolyVinyl Chloride made by a suspension polymerization.

Applications

Filler (or extender) polymer for preparation  of plastisol in the following applications:

• Coatings: synthetic laminates ( cellular or compact top coats), floor coverings, wall coverings and  tarpaulins.

• Rotacional molding, molding and slush molding: production of balls, dolls, techincal pieces, mats and general hollow products.

• Spraying: vehicles undersealants.

Characteristics

SolVin^® 266SF is a suspension PVC resin with low porosity and fine granulometry. It is used to lower viscosity and paste aging, specially at high-shear rates.

Special Properties

• SolVin^® 266SF allows decreasing plasticizer contents or  increasing mineral fillers in formulation without changing viscosity.

• Decreases dilating behavior in low  plasticized formulations, assuring good plastisol application in spread coating and spraying.

• SolVin^® 266SF changes only slightly gelatification behavior and  foam capacity in expanded articles.

• Provides  slightly changes in  smooth  surfaces, allowing texture and finishing adjustment (opacity) in the end product.

• SolVin^® 266SF presents low sedimentation and low coarse participles accumulation in the spread coating techniques.
