Type

Polyvinyl Chloride made by an emulsion polymerization.

Applications

Plastisol preparation for:

•    Coatings: Synthetic laminates (cellular or top coats), backed or non-backed foams, conveyor belts, transparent articles and tarpaulins.

•    Rotomolding: balls, toys and other hollow products.

•    Dipping: gloves (supported or not) and general coatings.

Characteristics

High molecular weight resin with pseudoplastic rheological behavior suitable to prepare medium-plasticized pastes for a very wide range of applications.

Special Properties

• General purpose resin suitable for chemically blown foams. Expansion and cell quality synergy can be obtained in combinations with SolVin® 367NK or SolVin® 370HD.

• Top coats prepared with SolVin^® 374MB are glossy, transparent and hold good mechanical properties as a result of its high K value.

• Plastisols prepared with SolVin^® 374MBpresent excellent rheological behavior during mixing, filtration, de-aeration, grinding and spreading processes.

• Good foam mechanical properties, especially in cellular articles covered with PU top skins and in laminates for vacuum forming.
