PolyVinyl Chloride made by emulsion polymerization.

Applications

Plastisol preparation for:

• Coatings: highly-plasticized cellular or solid coatings (synthetic laminates, unsupported foam, transparent coatings).

• Spraying: vehicle undersealants.

Characteristics

Medium molecular weight resin for highly plasticized pastes.  It is suitable to prepare thick plastisols with pseudoplastic and thixotropic behavior.

Special Properties

• Resin recommended for the production of highly-plasticized solid or cellular coatings which must comply with the fogging test.

• Provides excellent cellular structures (fine, homogeneous and highly white) and outstanding expansion rates, even in medium-plasticized and charged formulations.

• Plastisol viscosity may be adjusted as required by blending with other Solvin® paste resins like SolVin® 367NK, SolVin® 376NA  and the filler SolVin® 266SF .

• Combinations with SolVin^® 367NK result in synergic expansion rates as well as in cellular quality synergy.

• Plastisols prepared with SolVin^® 370HD present   excellent thermal stability.
