• Injection: flexible and semi-rigid products.

• Extrusion: Flexible and semi-rigid profiles, flexible and semi-rigid pipes, cable insulation, opaque or transparent semi-rigid and flexible films.

Characteristics

SolVin^® 265PY is a medium molecular weight PVC resin. It is presented as a white powder of intermediate porosity and good thermal stability and dispersion characteristics.

Specific Properties

• Low tendency to form fish-eyes.

• Low rates of resin loss during transport and pneumatic filling of silos.

• Easy transport in automated storage installations.

• Fast plasticizer absorption, resulting in easy-to-prepare dry blends.

• Easy gelation.

• Compatible with a wide range of fillers and thermal stabilizers.

• Regular dry blend feed of single and double screw extruders.

• Low humidity retention.

• Excellent transversal resistance.
