Main Roles  

The technical service assesses and interprets the customers’ needs, in order to present technical solutions that meet requirements, always taking into account the appropriate level and the cost-benefit ratio, as well as the observance of the effective technical standards.

The P&A provides technical guidance according to the customers' equipment and processes, and also carries out the actions needed for improving product quality, thus enhancing the products and making them more competitive.

Best Practices

Through the technological exchange with other plants of the Solvay group, organizations and universities, P&A is always in touch with the industry’s innovations and developments. The P&A team also supports the quality control system for the Solvin® PVC resins and their improvement, through the ongoing evaluation of their properties and performances. The team also provides internal training services for customers and partners.

The strengthening of the Solvin® brand, combined with the ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications, assures customers are receiving a competitive and world class product. P&A has large and modern laboratories in Brazil with a wide range of equipment items to provide reliable and accurate results.
